I just gave it a try. most of linux commands are implemented as alias.
and there is regex, array, lots of things there.
to do a text analysis for english its very easy to do like this
it will count words, lines, characters,
cat alice.txt | measure –word –line -character
Lines Words Characters ----- ----- ------------- 4 137 707
Nice huh? you should give it a try.

Glad you like Powershell. I've been using it for a while. Only one major problem:
1) It doesn't support Unicode output! The only way to make it work is either:
A) Have a "multi-encoding" version of Windows (e.g., Chinese)
B) Download the Powershell "IDE" --this is no good if you want a shell scripting environment.
Hi,
I don't know this is the right place to drop the message. But since I haven't found any contact form, I will just post it here.
I have a problem in using wxpydict dictionary. Thanks for your great effort in making such a great program. It is very useful. But somehow i can't manage to use this anymore because i am getting error every time I open it up. My computer is pre-installed with windows vista home premium.
I attached the screenshot which you can check out the error. Installation is fine with administrator rights. But when i open it, I am stuck with an error which show with a little box windows.
If you have some free time to check it out, I am glad for that. Your reply is much appreciated.

Hi, can you try uninstall and reinstall it again from here?

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I still have the same problem. I unistalled and reinstalled the program as you said but the problem is still there.
I unzipped the wxpydict_setup.exe into a folder using 7zip. It simply works without installation.
